A special note from Nadia Habib, she was one of the stars in this movie. She
is sharing with us some of her memories during the making of this film and
working with Faten Hamama.
I had the privilege of acting in 2 movies with Faten Hamama and getting to
know her personally. She was most kind, caring, and loving to me during the
filming. I was same age as her daughter Nadia so she treated me like a
daughter. I visited her at home and spent some off the set time with her.
She was a great inspiration to me. I admired everything about her. She sets a
great example of the Egyptian woman. She has class, dignity and compassion
for her country.
I often think of my childhood when I was a child actress. I met very
interesting people such as Faten, Emad Hamdy, Ahmad Mazhar, Shokri
Serhan, Soad Hosni, Samira Ahmad, Fardouse Mohamed (who introduced
me to the movie business) and Abdel Halim Hafez (my real idol). They all
treated me like an equal not like a child. I learned a lot from all of them and
after acting in 7 movies, I moved to Television and hosted "Nadi El Atfal" on
Thursday's with Safaa Abu El Soud and appeared frequently on Mama
Samiha. From there I joined the Ballet Academy for 9 years before
immigrating to the US.
I have been in the travel business for the last 25 years, organizing group travel
to Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries.
Regards,
Nadia Habib
