Dear Mrs. Faten, I dont really know how to start or what to say, I always loved you and your great movies. I watched ALL your movies without exception, and I keep on watching them everytime I feel nostalgic, which times are often and frequent. I was very glad to watch the interview broadcasted on Future TV couple of years ago during your visit to Lebanon, it was a great success and pleasure for me. Hors subjet, I would like to tell you a funny incident during our stay in Cairo in summer 1976. Around 10:30 pm in one of Helliopolis (Masr el Gedidah) streets we were looking, me and my husband, for a taxi back home. Unfortunately we waited around 15 minutes in vain, until a private car passed by and suddenly returned back. A gentleman with a lady by his side, the lady, staring at me strangely, asked very gently with a big smile whether we need a lift somewhere. I was really surprised and thanked her saying we didnt want to bother, but they insisted to do us that favour. In the car, the lady and her husband (we knew later) kept turning back and looking at me. Then the lady said: Mme. I am really sorry, but the real reason we stopped back because we thought you were Faten Hamama. To tell you the truth I rejoiced that compliment a lot. It seems that when you love someone you end up resembling him. Anyhow, I thank you very much for giving me this golden opportunity to write these words thru your website.
